As part of our application to become a registered charity I have to evidence our work in the community. Although there is huge amounts of work going on currently I thought I would take a walk down memory lane and see what we used to do and I came across this video that took me back to our very beginning.

Have a look and see if you recognise anyone.

Records continue to fall at Summer Grand Prix

Saturday, June 3rd, 2017

For a third time successive time in our 2017 season, records fell at this month’s Summer Grand Prix event.

On another glorious day, 84 athletes competed beneath bright skies, warm weather and a windless track to witness our Year 4 and Year 6 athletes step up to the mark and record faster times and farther distances on Saturday 3rd June 2017.

In the Year 4 category, Zac Brannon, broke the 6oom record by three seconds recording a time of 1 minute and 58 seconds, whilst Luke Pichler created a new Long Jump record of 3 metres 86 centimetres beating James Davison’s best by 14 centimetres.

Katie Joslyn and Brandon Pye broke Year 6 records. Katie ran 2 minutes and 35 seconds beating the former record held by Lauren Brown and Freya Clarkson by one second whereas Brandon threw the Howler a distance of 37 metres and 84 centimetres, breaking Alfie Ward’s best by 27 centimetres.

Our next event will be held on Saturday 1st July 2017.
